Weddings/Events Venue

The Centennial Farm Manor is definitively a great place to hold a weekend long destination wedding, a rehearsal dinner, post wedding brunch, a 50th wedding Anniversary or birthday, a place for the wedding party to stay or just any reason to get together with friends and family.

The main house has 12 Bedroom, 7 Baths, a huge professional kitchen, with a Garland double convection oven, multiple refrigerators, food prep sinks, stainless steel counters, multiple dishwashers and a separate attached butlers service kitchen. It incredibly has 10 fireplaces and an outside fire pit with views of neighboring farms for miles. The Living room is an amazing place to entertain centered around a 6’ fireplace with 5 separate couches and conversation areas, Oak Parquet floors, 12’ coffered ceilings, a 1920’s Knabe baby grand piano and nine 10’ French doors overlooking the Butternut Valley. Hopefully you can feel the presence of the parties of Dolly Van Stade Bostwick and Pete Bostwick (The number 1 Polo player in the world in the 1950’s) held in that very room after world class polo Tournaments on the fields below. The Dining room with its equally beautiful fireplace, parquet floors and coffered ceilings which current seats 30 can boast about diner parties from the Gilded Era of the early 20's.

The Centennial Farm Manor House Estate sits atop of a mountain on a 550 acre fairy -tale, historical Estate. There is no need to worry about noise ordinances or when the party is going to end. It will all be up to you, your guests, the DJ and the bartenders.

Keep the party going until the flame of the fire pit are nothing but ambers or till the sun rises on the mountain. Retire to your bedroom or freshen up in your private bathroom and then back to the party. It’s all up to you. Waking up to a big country breakfast and a fresh cup of coffee with all your friends and family as you share stories of last night’s festivities or eating healthy and going on an early morning jog through endless trails. It is all up. Pretty sure the one thing that won’t be up to you is the memories your guests, your friend and families have shared the weekend they spent on the side of a mountain in Gilbertsville at your event.

While the grounds would be able to accommodate a guest list of 100+ people you would need to make additional porta-potty and sleeping arrangements for guests over 25 or 35 if the Butler’s House is included in your stay.

We work closely with several Event planners, local caterers and Party Rental companies to help facilitate an effortless event. With the endless details associated with an event it is always helpful to have a list of capable professionals to help make your party meet your expectations.

The Butler’s House is located on the same estate is less than a ¼ of a mile down the driveway from the Manor House is available for addition guests if needed. It is a 5 bedroom (sleeps 10+) two bath Georgian Revival built in the early 1900’s by the Free Masons and designed by the same architects that built the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown.
